Cornish Organic Wools are 100% organic, both produced and spun organically with the Soil Association certification at every stage.
The wool is sourced from local farmers and the spun wool is supplied, with minimal impact on the environment. All the farmers are Soil Association accredited or are certified with Organic Farmers & Growers Ltd (OF&G) and are dedicated to the welfare of their animals. The wool is spun at the only Soil Association accredited spinning mill in the country which is based in Launceston, near Bodmin, in Cornwall. This means that the wool is organically farmed, scoured and spun and has "Made In Cornwall" status. The company, 'Cornish Organic Wool' has also been licenced by the Soil Association. The wool is spun to standard UK DK, 4 ply, Aran, and Chunky weights which means you can use it for all your favourite patterns.
