Knitwitches Silk Knitting Yarn

Knitwitches Silk yarn is a continuous filament (1 strand) 100% pure silk yarn, somewhere between a laceweight and a 4 ply to knit with, and upplied in 100g skeins.. It is very soft and silky to handle and a joy to knit with. Use needle sizes starting from a 3.25-3.5mm depending on what you are knitting, for open work lace a bigger needle can be used. Using a 5mm needle to make a scarf in a feather and fan stitch, it looks great. The bigger needle size gives a more open work affect. Perfect for scarves, wraps, shawls and for a very special baby knit.
