These are 100% Cornish organic yarns, produced and spun organically with the Soil Association certification at every stage.

The wool is sourced from local farmers and then spun, to standard UK DK, 4 ply, Aran, and Chunky weights, at the only Soil Association accredited spinning mill in the country which is based in Launceston, near Bodmin, in Cornwall. All the farmers are Soil Association accredited or are certified with Organic Farmers & Growers Ltd (OF&G) and are dedicated to the welfare of their animals.

This means that the wool is organically farmed, scoured and spun and has "Made In Cornwall" status. The company, 'Cornish Organic Wool' has also been licenced by the Soil Association. Licence No: DK 17262.

Peru's heritage and culture of textile artistry is one of the richest in the world. Without the shepherds tending their animals in the Peruvian Highlands we would not have this beautiful luxurious yarn.
