fiddlesticks our knitting wool shop, in New Street, Honiton Devon, stocks a good range of knitting yarns from a number of well known suppliers, including a selection of organic yarns for environmentally friendly knitting. We also sell our yarns and accessories here on the web and by mail order via the shop.

The stock ranges from pure wool through various mixes to the soft synthetic yarns with a number of specialist yarns many of which are hand dyed.

We hold a good range of patterns and pattern books for Bergere De France, Cornish Organic Wool, Debbie Bliss, Devon Alpaca, Knitwitches, Noro, Opal, Sirdar, Stylecraft, Twilleys, Wendy and UK Alpaca. In addition we have a number of patterns from UKHKA and BHKC, which are mainly for 4ply and DK yarns.

New Arrival - Three new Noro Pattern Books

Just arrived three great new pattern books from Noro. -The Noro Catwalk pattern book with 16 patterns, by Jenny Watson, for the latest season. The Noro Collection book from Jenny Watson which uses just four qualities - Kureyon, Kureyon sock sarn, Silk Garden, and Silk Garden sock yarn. The collection consists 16 patterns for Sweaters, Cardigans, Jackets and Hats.

The Noro Family pattern book, the third by Jane Ellison, contains 18 simple to knit patterns for all the family from 1 years old to 52" including a beautiful blanket consisting of 12 individual squares, each 40cm x 40cm.

Knit & Chat

Our ‘Knit and Chat' group is held fortnightly on Thursdays from 5pm - 7pm in the evening. To accommodate our growing membership we are now meeting at the coffee shop at the Colour Wheel Garden Centre situated at Tower Cross, about a mile outside Honiton on the A35.
